CHST study options compared: cost, renewal and refunds

DisclosureWe make Toe Board, which is one of the options on this page. We describe every option from its own published information and link to it.

What you pay, what renews and what you get back if it does not work for you. That is the comparison that matters before you hand over a card number for the BCSP Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) exam, so it is the one below.

Toe Board is one payment with lifetime access. Nothing renews and nothing bills you again. You get an original question bank written to the four CHST blueprint domains, a full-length timed practice exam, domain scores and a lesson for each domain, and a 7-day refund window under the terms.

The bundle price is a BCSP exam price and is not a study course. It buys two attempts at the exam, plus one free self-assessment. Against two single exams at $300 each, it saves $50 if you expect to use the second attempt.

What the numbers add up to

  • A subscription keeps billing. Check whether a seller renews each month before you start. A one-time payment is easier to plan around if your exam date moves.
  • Count what is yours. A big total on the front page may cover many exams. Check how many questions are written to the CHST's four domains.
  • Cheap is real. Free OSHA material and your own site experience are real study resources. Add a question bank when you want timed practice and domain scores.

What to check before you pay anyone

  1. Is it written to the CHST blueprint? Domain weights are 36.6%, 22.5%, 21% and 19.9%. A good bank follows them.
  2. Do explanations cite the OSHA section? You should leave each question knowing which rule it came from.
  3. Is the content original? Never buy anything promising real or recalled exam questions.
  4. What happens at renewal? Read the cancellation and refund rules before you pay.
  5. Does it score by domain? A single percentage hides where your points are.

What you get from Toe Board

The CHST gives you 4 hours at a Pearson test center, and the heaviest domain is hazards and controls. The course trains that: a lesson for each domain written for people who run and inspect construction work, an original question bank with a worked explanation and the OSHA 29 CFR 1926 section for each answer, a full-length timed practice exam on the real 4-hour clock, a study plan from your exam date and an exam-day checklist.

Try the free 10-question check first. You see your score by domain without signing up, so you know which plan you need before you pay.

A practice score is not a prediction

No practice score, ours or anyone's, predicts what you will get on exam day. Use your result to decide what to study next. Questions here are original and written to the published CHST blueprint.
